The DBMips System is a new tool for the aided diagnosis of melanoma as reported in scientific papers. The System allows the instant analysis of the pigmented skin lesions at a frame rate of 18-22 frames per second thus allowing real-time analysis of pigmented lesions. The innovative module for the real time check, infact, offers an aid while the clinician is just observing the lesions on the patient's skin. While moving the camera over the moles the System is able to perform the real time analysis. A proper database module and a follow-up numerical analysis engine permit accurate documentation of patients total-body pictures and moles analyses.

The DB-Mips System is actually the only System able to perform the real-time analysis of the patients lesions. Other similar systems need to store the lesions before analyzing them.
